Green Economy Forum

The Green Economy Forum was held at The Harbourview. The forum invited a number of leaders to give speeches. They are 2nd President of the Legislative Council -Jasper Tsang Yok-sing GBM, GBS, JP, former Under Secretary for Environment, Ms. Christine Loh, JP SBS, OBE, Carbon Care Asia CEO Lai Kwong-tak, Hong Kong Energy Conservation Association And Honorary Chairman Mr. Dominic Yin, Friends of the Earth (HK) Chairman Dr. Wong Taam Chi Woon, Vivian, JP, President of Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium Mr. Li Mingwei, Shangri-La Hotel Corporate Social Responsibility Director Ms. Yui Ku, HRL Morrison & Co, Mr. Koo Chee Hang, Head of Investment Strategy, Mr Cheung Kwok Chuen, Director of China Dynamics Project Development, and Ms. Christina Tang Pik-han , Founder of Blue Sky Energy Technology.

According to UN Global Compact, “Social Caring Pledge” has always been committed to advocating corporate environmental protection. At the forum, Carbon Care Asia CEO Lai Kwong-tak shared his insights at COP21. In addition, Hong Kong Energy Conservation Association And Honorary Chairman Mr. Dominic Yin also shared the need to pay attention to China’s development of green energy, so that everyone can deepen their understanding of this potential market.

She shared that the challenges faced by the government in formulating environmental protection policies and legislation, and explored the role of enterprises in environmental protection from the aspects of energy conservation, green building, solid waste treatment and waste recycling.

The “Disabled Person Employment Forum” was held at The Harbourview Hotel. The forum invited the former Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Stephen Sui Wai-keung, JP, The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Mr Stephen Wong the Vice President of the Direction Association for the Handicapped, Mr. Willy Law, Managing Director of Mansfield Consulting Limited, Mr. Billy Man, Chairman of Rehabilitation Alliance Hong Kong, Mr. Cheung Kin-fai, Mr. Patrick Ng, Director of Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power, and Mr. Shiu Ka-chun, Lecturer of Social Work Department of Hong Kong Baptist University, gave speeches.
