Participation qualification

Companies must be registered in Hong Kong.

Companies should have no criminal record in the past 3 years.

Companies are willing to launch the pledge within their own organization.

Companies invited to participate must send representatives to attend the ceremony.

Purpose

To appreciate the contributions of individuals or enterprises in social care

To promote social awareness among corporates and individuals, and to practice out social responsibility

To strengthen public’s confidence on Asian enterprises

Aims

This program is based on the principle of achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration. It acknowledges the contribution of individuals and enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibility. The scope includes public welfare, environmental and ecological protection, anti-corruption and improvement of working environment. Enterprises need to voluntarily sign the “Social Caring Pledge” to jointly arouse public awareness of corporate social responsibility.

Target

A company registered in Asia with substantial business operations, excellent performance in fulfilling corporate responsibility.

Eligibility Criteria

Leading the industry, promoting a caring spirit, or initiating social caring campaigns.

Have a positive impact or be recognized by industry, experts or the community for their industry contributions.

Implementing policies that promote Social care, environmental protection or ecological conservation  internally and externally; or providing employment opportunities for the disadvantaged; or creating a satisfying working environment for employees; or promoting anti-corruption; or operating the enterprise based on customer interests.

Effectively integrating and practicing various management systems with daily business.

Target

A company registered in Asia, with substantial business operations, outstanding performance in fulfilling corporate responsibility, and with fewer than 50 employees.

Eligibility Criteria

Leading employees to develop a caring spirit and to assist in planning or implementing social care activities.

Positive influence in the process of promoting social care, or recognition by industry, experts or the community.

Enthusiastically involved in caring affairs, environmental protection or ecological conservation; or hiring an employee from underprivileged groups; or providing a satisfying working environment for employees; or promote anti-corruption; or run the enterprise based on customer interests.

Develop a clear enterprise management system and apply it to daily business.

Target

A male who has demonstrated his outstanding leadership and achievements in the social welfare community by leveraging his expertise and achievements.

Eligibility Criteria

Making full use of personal professional knowledge and social network to play a key role in the social care category.

Committed to promoting social care and practicing out social responsibility to give back to the society.

Having a positive influence in promoting social care and be recognized by professionals or the society.

Enthusiastically participate in caring affairs, environmental protection or ecological conservation; or contribute to the society with personal ability to safeguard the overall interests of society.

Target

A female who has demonstrated her outstanding leadership and achievements in the social welfare community by leveraging her expertise and achievements.

Eligibility Criteria

Making full use of personal professional knowledge and social network to play a key role in the social care category.

Committed to promoting social care and practicing out social responsibility to give back to the society.

Having a positive influence in promoting social care and be recognized by professionals or the society.

Enthusiastically participate in caring affairs, environmental protection or ecological conservation; or contribute to the society with personal ability to safeguard the overall interests of society.

The  “Social Caring Award” logo is owned by the Social Enterprise Research Academy.
